
About Strategies Exchange Activities
<>Strategies Exchanges are activities in which students are involved in some type of cooperative or collaborative problem solving, and are attending to their own and others’ problem solving processes as part of their learning. Strategies Exchange activity types include:
- parallel problem solving,
- joint problem-solving,
- serial creating (e.g., Travel Buddies
activities; progressive stories),
- peer feedback (a.k.a. peer editing or
writers’ workshop online),
- and simulation.
